Sometimes you have to manually mark an order as shipped.
There may have been complications with the shipping, or you may have generated the shipping labels through a third-party system.
Here are the steps to manually mark an order as shipped.
First, navigate to the order in question and Fulfill Order at the top or bottom of the order screen.
1. Select what products are in the shipping batch
2. Select Manual via the radio button
3. Enter in the shipping information for the shipment. This can include the shipping service, tracking number, and customer shipping account number.
Note: The only required field is the Tracking Number. If you don't have a tracking number, you can enter any datapoint you want into this field.
4. Create Label & Mark Shipped
Since there is no actual label to create, this action will simply mark the selected products as shipped.
If all items in the order have been marked as shipped, then the order becomes Shipped as well.
Please note that the system will believe you have fulfilled this order and physically shipped it out the door. Any shipping confirmation emails will be triggered just as if a real label was generated and the order marked as shipped.
