To modify Pulse Commerce system-generated email templates:
- Go to Marketing > DISCOUNTS, EMAIL & OTHER > E-Mail Templates.
- Click the System E-Mail Template tab.
- Click the Edit link next to the template you would like to modify.
- Customize the header information as needed. For example, you could replace the {{SystemGeneratedSubject}} with your own generic subject.
- Customize the message body as needed by replacing, or adding to, the {{SystemGeneratedMessageBody}} field with your custom message and Supported Fields.
- When finished making changes, click the Update button.
Once you have configured your New Order Email and Shipping Confirmation Email, ensure the system is set to automatically send the email to the customer. Settings are as follows:
- Go to Settings > General Settings > Order Settings.
- Set the Email Customer on Order Completion to Yes.
- Set the Disable shipping notification email to No.
When you manually create a customer account, you can choose to set the initial user password randomly and have it emailed to the user.
