How do I configure the Shipping Confirmation E-Mail Message?

There are currently two editors to modify the Shipping Confirmation E-mail.

• Shipping Confirmation E-mail Message Editor.
  
  
• System E-Mail Templates > Shipping Confirmation E-mail.

For backward compatibility, we have maintained the Shipping Confirmation E-mail Message Editor.


To add simple text to the email message that gets sent to customers when an order is shipped:

1. Navigate to Content > Message Editor > Shipping Confirmation E-Mail Message.
   
   
2. Specify your desired message in the Shipping Confirmation E-Mail Message field.
   
   
3. Click Update.
   
   
   

Note: If you want to display the Customer First Name in the Shipping Confirmation E-Mail, make sure to specify it as >>>CUSTOMER_NAME<<<.

We also recommend using our new E-mail Templates editor at:

• Marketing > E-Mail Templates > System E-Mail Templates > Shipping Confirmation E-mail.

Once you’ve configured your Shipping Confirmation E-mail, ensure the system is set to automatically send the email to the customer:

1. Go to Settings > General Settings > Order Settings. 
   
   
2. Set the Disable shipping notification email to No.
