How can a customer specify whether an item is being ordered for themselves or someone else?

Pulse Commerce provides multiple ways for the customer to specify whether an item is being ordered for themselves or someone else. These include:

Gift Wrap Message
You can enable the Gift Wrap option, and the customer can specify a gift message:

• Site Settings > General Settings > Order Settings > Display Gift Wrap Option.

Special Shipping Address
The customer may also specify a different shipping name and address to have an order shipped directly to the recipient.

Special Instructions
You may also present the customer with a Special Instructions text box during checkout.
To enable the Special Instructions checkbox:

• Site Settings > General Settings > Order Settings > Display Special Instructions Text Box During Checkout.

Checkout Survey Manager
Alternatively, you use the Checkout Survey Manager to ask the customer:

• Marketing & CRM > Checkout Survey Manager.
