Troubleshooting Common Issues
Q: Are you aware FedEx is moving from SOAP APIs to REST API Keys?
A: Yes, we are aware of FedEx moving from SOAP to REST API keys in 2026 and our engineering team is well aware. They have a plan to transition to REST before the 2026 deadline.
Q: I only received an API Key and Secret Key, but no Meter Number. What should I do?
A: This is expected behavior with the new FedEx Developer Portal. The Meter Number must be obtained separately by contacting your FedEx account representative as outlined in Step 12 above.
Q: I can't find the "Move to Production" option mentioned in older instructions.
A: FedEx has retired the "Move to Production" workflow. The new process uses Organizations and Projects as described in the updated steps above.
Q: Do I need all four credentials for the integration to work?
A: Yes, Pulse Commerce requires all four credentials (Account Number, API Key, Secret Key, and Meter Number) and Login Credentials for the FedEx integration to function properly.
