As the Pulse Commerce brand strengthens, online customers will recognize that businesses who select Pulse Commerce to power their e-commerce site are likely to be trusted, reputable, and successful online merchants who offer a safe and secure online shopping experience.
Additionally, Pulse Commerce encourages merchants to display certifications, affiliations, and site seals, including the Powered-by Pulse Commerce. Certifications can be very beneficial to an e-commerce site. Online users typically perceive sites which have affiliations with many reputable 3rd party organizations as more trustworthy and secure. This can result in a higher sale conversions ratio.
In addition to displaying the Powered-by Pulse Commerce Seal, we also highly recommend displaying the site seal from your SSL Certificate Authority (GeoTrust, or Thawte) and the McAfee Secure Seal (a leading security scanning and auditing firm). We also suggest considering other seals and logos such as Authorize.Net Verified Merchant (or other payment gateways), Visa/MasterCard/Discover/AMEX Accepted, Better Business Bureau Member, etc.
Though rarely requested, merchants on a Pulse Commerce Middle-Market Solution level can discuss removal of the Powered-by Pulse Commerce Seal with their Account Manager. Merchants on Pulse Commerce Small Business editions may not remove the Powered-by Pulse Commerce Seal.
