How do I configure FileZilla to use SSL FTP (FTPS)?

  1. Enter the FTP credential information from your Welcome Kit:



    Note: Be sure to select Default


     
  2. After pressing Connect, you will be prompted to accept the certificate. Carefully review the certificate and make sure it references the actual site you are trying to connect to:
     


  3. You may choose to check the box for Always trust certificate in future sessions.

  4. If you plan on working with directories that have large numbers of files in them, then it can help to make this setting change:
