This article explains how to use the Customer Reward Point Adjustments import to increase, decrease, or reset loyalty points for existing customers in Pulse Commerce. Loyalty Reward Points are part of the Customer Loyalty Program, allowing customers to earn points for purchases and redeem them on future orders.
Note: The Loyalty Rewards Points module is an advanced add-on that must be enabled for your site. If you do not have access to this feature, contact Pulse Commerce Support.
The Customer Reward Point Adjustment Import allows you to modify reward point balances for existing customers. It supports:
- Adding reward points (positive values)
- Subtracting reward points (negative values)
- Completely resetting a customer's reward points to zero
This import adjusts point balances for existing customers only. It does not create customer accounts. The email address in each row must match an existing record in your system.
Important Identification Rule:
- Adjustments are matched using the customer’s Email Address.
- Email addresses in the file must exactly match email addresses already stored in the system.:contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
