Generate a downloadable CSV file containing product details for your store. You can export comprehensive product data or inventory-specific information based on your needs.
Pulse Commerce offers two primary export formats for product data:
Inventory Export: Provides updates on physical inventory counts, including current inventory levels and exact SKU/location names. This export can be used as a reference for Inventory Import, focusing on inventory-specific data such as stock levels, SKUs, and warehouse information.
Product Export: Includes comprehensive product information such as descriptions, pricing, attributes, and specifications. This format allows you to customize which fields are included in the export.
Use this method to export current inventory levels and stock information:
1Navigate to Import/Export → Export in your Pulse Commerce account.
2Select the Inventory Export radio button.
3If desired, use Filter By Category to narrow your selection.
4Click Generate Export File.
5Once the file is generated, click Download it now to save the CSV file to your computer.
Use this method to export detailed product information with customizable field options:
1Navigate to Import/Export → Export in your Pulse Commerce account.
2Select the Product Export radio button.
3Select the checkbox beside one or more categories that contain the data you want to export.
4If desired, use Filter By Category to narrow your selection, then apply Additional Product Filters to further refine the data.
5Optionally, select the checkbox next to select custom product fields if you want to choose which custom fields get exported to the CSV file.
6Click Generate Export File.
7If you opted to select custom fields, choose the specific fields you want to include by selecting the checkbox beside each field.
8If you selected the custom fields option, click the Generate Export File button again.
9Once the file is generated, click Download it now to save the CSV file to your computer
