There are two types of order confirmation messages:
- Order Confirmation Email Message
- Order Confirmation Message displayed on the Order confirmation page
Order Confirmation Email Message:
There are currently two editors to modify the Order Confirmation Email:
- Order Confirmation E-Mail Message
- Marketing > System E-Mail Templates > New Order Email
For backward compatibility, we have maintained the Order Confirmation Email Message Editor:
- Navigate to Content > Message Editor > Order Confirmation E-Mail Message.
- Specify your desired message in the Order Confirmation E-Mail Message field.
- Click Update.

Order Confirmation Message
There are two editors to change and adjust the Order Confirmation Message displayed to customers who place a successful order.
The first is a Global Order Confirmation Message editor:
- Go to Content > Message Editor > Custom Message on Order Confirmation Page.
If you wish to display the order information on the order confirmation page, select the checkbox for Display Order Information on Order Confirmation Page. This setting also enables the customer to print their order.
The Second is the payment method specific Order Confirmation Message editor:
