How Notifications Work
When a product's quantity changes from 0 to any positive number:
1System detects the inventory increase
2System identifies all email addresses registered for that product
3System sends notification using the Back-In-Stock Email Notification template
4System records the date emailed in the signup record
Configure Email Template
The system uses the Back-In-Stock Email Notification transactional email template for customer notifications.
To customize the template:
1Review the Transactional Email Templates Configuration Guide
2Locate the Back-In-Stock Email Notification template
3Customize subject line, message content, and design
4Test the template before inventory updates
Email Signup Form Not Appearing
Common Causes:
- BackInStockNotifyLicense not enabled

Notifications Not Sending
